About the Creator
Rasika Sivakumar is a junior at Methacton High School in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. She has various interests such as Indian Classical Carnatic singing, dance, violin, tennis, and of course, coding and web development. She enjoys reading, gardening, drawing, and staying active in her free time. Rasika has won in several science fairs and international music competitions. She has also received the Child Artiste Award in 2022 from the Valayapatti Nadhalaya Trust, a reputed music organization in the December Music Season Festival, Chennai, India. In 2023, she received the prestigious Global Indian Cultural Ambassador Award sponsored by UNESCO and the Birmingham Thyagaraja Festival. She has been the violin concert master of her school orchestra since third grade. She has also been selected into the Pennsylvania Youth Orchestra’s Elite Strings. Rasika recently was awarded the Presidential Award of Academic Excellence at school. She also has been performing vocal concerts worldwide since the age of 8. During the Coronavirus pandemic, Rasika has been performing concerts virtually on online platforms and is happy to have started in-person concerts again. One of her future aspirations is to attend an Ivy League university and work in the medical field.
